Remarks

It's a women's University so more opportunities are there for girls. I have herad a lot about Usha Mittal institute of technology and the placement criteria is very good. All the teachers are very helpful and many internship and placement opportunities are available.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes all the syllabus is very updated as per the needs of the company the academic is good we have also games and quizzes in the college it's very helpful for all the students. most of the faculties are good and so it's very good

Placement and job opportunities are available and many companies come for placement the process is aptitude test and technical round then HR round is also there the college inform us beforehand. Many companies like Oracle, Accenture, collegeate it as well

College Events

I am a part of Institute of electrical and electronics engineering council for last 3 years it has been the best days of my life I have learned many things and management skills as well. Many events are held students have to participate in this events and win prizes many days are also celebrated

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
