Remarks

There were many factors to select this college, some of those include good infrastructure, good placement facilities, academics, cultural fests, hostel & food. The thing i like the most about this college is its infrastructure and cultural fests, which are the best in the town.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is of standard type as provided by VTU to all its affiliated colleges. The course curriculum is updated and it matches with the modern standard of industries. Mangalore institute of engineering and technology provides good industry exposure and has made many incentives for the benifit of the students. The faculties of MITE are good, well educated, experienced and friendly.

Placement Experience

4

The placement facility is Mangalore institute of technology and engineering is pretty good with 100+ companies visiting campus each year, but the problem is with the shortage of companies for core branches and then when it comes to IT branches they get placed with very good package. Some of the companies that visit campus for drives are ibm, amazon, infosys, slk, oracle, hp etc.

College Events

4.5

Campus life at Mangalore Institute technology and engineering is better from because of its regular engagement in technical fests, events and workshops. Mangalore institute of technology and engineering has hosts very good fests, one of them is yearly college fest called senstia, which is very grand because bollywood celebs come to perform on event.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of Mangalore institute of technology and engineering is excellent and is of modern style. MITE has all amenities that must be available in a good engineering college, ranging from hostel, digital classes, air conditioning, ground for sports, wifi, labs, library etc.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice
