Remarks

I Availed this college because it had bus facility and was recommended by few peoples and I found it's ratings pretty good to get admission in. Also process was simple and I was easily recruited later on. Also it has good campus and infrastructure and great area to study in.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is up to date. Teachers taught on the basis of present amendments. Also every faculty is good in their way I belongs from management faculty so I prefer management faculty only. Assignment are given to students to they can keep themselves busy in this too.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 43000 per year

Internships Opportunities

No I have not opted for any internship

Placement Experience

Various companies of various departments visits are college campus every week. Programs interview their assessments and scores are judged. And students are selected on the basis of it.

College Events

Campus life goes amazing with friends. Much interacting with students and teachers. Students get to know about different stuffs, various activities are being conducted events are organised about various lecturers

Fees and Financial Aid

I've not availed anything yet. Hope so college provides loan to students who are financially poor. Packages of different amount is provided for that you have to work hard.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is amazing. Management needs to put some projectors and should install some systems too. Seats and boards are perfectly installed in classrooms but they need to put some effort in cafeteria

Hostel Facilities

No I've not availed hostel, I am a day scholar. But I guess it is pretty easy to get in hostel. Few food poisoning cases are heard in starting of semester but not they too have been improved to the average.

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty,their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

True experience of a SLIET Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.
