Remarks

Preferable course availabilty and good teaching faculty attracted me to the college.Also the college has pretty decent infrastructure and supports extracurricular activities for students interested in the same.The hostel facility is also good.

The course syllabus is well updated and faculty is also excellent.Regarding academics, inspite of the difficult situation due to covid,the college provides online classes through platforms like microsoft teams and google classroom.

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
