Remarks

VIT is near my hometown which made, though being 70 km away, I could still be at home. VIT University tops the NRDF rank for the first private university. Also, my course is unique to my university, which I didn't find elsewhere which highly influenced me to join this uni.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is unique to my university, as it's available only in VIT Bhopal, the curriculum is simple, we have two sessional exams per semester and then a one-semester exam, these exams scheduled with approximately one month gap, which makes learning continuous and fun.

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 302000 per year

Placement Experience

We have a separate cell for placement, which covers aspects from various areas of interest, it's a centralized placement process, and all the students under VIT take a test according to which they are scored and then placed into different categories.

College Events

VIT covers a number of technical and cultural activities, from hackathons to debates, whatever it is, they got your back. All the festivals are celebrated with the same zeal and students from diverse cultures are motivated to take part.

Placement Experience:

In BCA it's the tech companies and companies which needs data scientists are the ones which provide us jobs and jobs of highest calibre are provided to us. Like for BCA comapnies like Intel, Wipro and others provides us 4-5 lakhs salary and one student even got 12 lakhs package who was pursuing BBA.

JLU on a lighter note provide us internships with many YouTube content creators and also some media houses. So majority students of here get a PPO directly and therefore placements worth 4-5 lakhs are what we get initially.

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Whether you should join VIT bhopal or not

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More

Couldn't get much percentile in JEE to get a GOOD gov colleges otherwise could have got IIITs and a few NITs.
