Remarks

1. VIT has its own legacy as private engineering college in India. 2. Placement is better than many other institutes. 3. FFCS gives control over our academics. 4. Artificial intelligence and machine learning is a growing industry and I had interest on it. So as I saw VIT Bhopal is providing specialized courses in these subjects, I opt for the institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is relevant to present time and need. The curriculum includes theory, practical sessions, lab session, guest lectures etc. All the faculties here are having doctorate and they do know well about how to teach and what to teach. Though some faculties are arrogant, not well-aware of current trends and don't want to take any constructive criticism causing hindrance. Talking about industrial exposure, there I hardly got any chance of it

Placement Experience

Not sure about these details. I am still in my second year. The college is new and hadn't had its first placement yet. So, no alumni network is there yet. I've not yet heard about Entrepreneur Cell in my college can say it doesn't exist.

College Events

The annual techno-cultural event is Advitya. Though this year it didn't happen due to COVID-19. There are other regional, cultural, technical clubs that organize events. These events are very small. Also, as campus is lacking proper grounds, most of the events are not that good.

Campus Life

Better not to mention this. Still, academic building is fully WiFi zone. There's a 'small' library. Labs are not well furnished and not even can hold a class. Labs and computer studios don't have many equipment. Even computer studios can't hold a complete class. Campus is lacking proper grounds for playing, events. The auditorium is too small to hold students.

Placement Experience:

In BCA it's the tech companies and companies which needs data scientists are the ones which provide us jobs and jobs of highest calibre are provided to us. Like for BCA comapnies like Intel, Wipro and others provides us 4-5 lakhs salary and one student even got 12 lakhs package who was pursuing BBA.

JLU on a lighter note provide us internships with many YouTube content creators and also some media houses. So majority students of here get a PPO directly and therefore placements worth 4-5 lakhs are what we get initially.

Placement Experience:

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More

Couldn't get much percentile in JEE to get a GOOD gov colleges otherwise could have got IIITs and a few NITs.
