Course Curriculum Overview

For my branch,i would recommend the course curriculum is definitely the best.Faculties are all brilliant and patient.Academics performance is better than ither branches.Ashish tiwary sir from ece branch is probably the most well behaved and a smart, intelligent teacher,subhrajit pradhan sir is the best fit as an hod,radhanath patra sir is the best for entrepreneurship programs,tusharkanta panda sir and ribhu abhusan panda sir for research papers,Gautam gupta sir for project development,Ami parida sir -great depth in ECE field,chips,controllers

I did internship in bsnl bbsr. GIET provides internship but i haven't done any yet

I am from autonomous batch and at that time there was branch fest,after it was tech fest,it was like fests all the year;we would enjoy different technical,non-technical events;celebrity night is also done and food stalls are organised by students where they get huge cash amount on winning.Other events related to projects,innovation and fashion are also done

Yes i have availed tution fees waiver(tfw),pragati scheme is also available as its AICTE affiliated university

Campus Life

Wifi depends on year of students like 1st year get 1 gb per day while 1.5 gb for 2nd year and unlimited for 3&4th year;The vastness of library can be imagined by its 60k books,it also has a book bank;Labs are quite equipped with very expensive equipments; Infrastructure,color of buildings all are so different and beautiful that one can easily identify

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are not so good. I would rate it 2.5 star out of 5.It is not well ventilated and the humidity and climate of gunupur makes it more terrible. But food in the mesh and canteens are quite good.Cleanliness is maintained

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.

GIET UNIVERSITY - Best place to learn in southern odisha

According to money factor this college is great. Under such low fee college is great for providing course other than any college. I applied for SOA University and course fee is too high there. Also my college is a university. So there is no worry about anything. For admission in giet you have applied for OJEE odisha and contact a marketing officer or direct join in college. You have to pay 10-15 thousand rupees for advance fees. In admission day you have to pay hlaf of your fees in one year. You will get everything in that day. Rank doesn't matter here...Read More
