Remarks

The infrastructure of the department and faculty,the availability of Army officers in the department and presence of eminent guest faculty and the transparency of the department made me to choose this department.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was updated every year but the main drawback rested in the lack of proper faculty to teach the syllabus, the best faculty is limited and available only to few subjects, so lack of best faculty for all the subjects is a drawback I found in the department

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Placement Experience

The biggest drawback of SPPU is lack of placements to all departments and placements were confined only to MBA &Science departments.

College Events

In this aspect my university lacks, as the only event conducted in the university was university founding day and that' was organized in an simple way.extracurricular activities were not given that importance compared to other universities.

Campus Life

The library is one of the oldest and best collection of books available. Regarding the sports facility, there is a huge play ground but the events for the sports were conducted very rare.wife is okayish and there is a hectic process to get registered our name in university wifi list. Labs were extraordinary with upgraded equipment.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel allotment process was very hectic as it recently turned to online format.the hostel is situated in an good atmosphere but frequent water problems and over no of students allotted for a single room,the toilets were very limited and every morning there is a huge line for bathrooms and PG facility near the hostel is too costly and bit affitadavle to middle class.

Hostel Fee: INR 6500 per year

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

A good choice for bachelors study for regular BSc

Compare to other colleges at least for regular BSc this college is slightly higher reputed at present now. Other colleges like the KK wagh is engineering College while others don't have hostel facilities. The city is also more affordable but still standard compared to other education hub like Pune. Hence for regular BSc course even if anyone got delayed admission can be taken first in any other course in the college and then within the department by cancelling the first chosen course.
