Remarks

It's a reputed institute and the placements are pretty good. It is situated in a prime area of the city so good hostel facilities are also available. The teachers are extremely brilliant in their fields and they know the knack of bringing the best outta every student.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus I'd would say, would be good for beginners and not up-to the mark for people who have years of good music training. If you're new to music this is definitely the best place. You get a lot of exposure there will be number of workshops and guest lectures happening and in almost all the culturals you'll get a chance to sing

Placement Experience

Placements are mostly in international schools and such, with just the under graduation you can only get such jobs. The salary basically depends on the skill you have, the genres of music you can teach (although carnatic is the only type that's been taught here).

College Events

There are so many culturals and inter college events that happen in this college, especially for music department we have an event called "Kadhambari" in which the department students are given chance to perform. That's not it, all the functions would require the music department students to perform the prayer songs.

Campus Life

Library is really good and updated. The music department also provide all the students with Veena, a classic carnatic music instrument, that is the allied paper. Wi-Fi is available for teachers and not the students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was average I would say. Too strict for the amount we pay. And the food quality isn't that good, chances of finding insects in food is pretty common. And the rooms aren't that spacious either.
