Remarks

Usha Mittal Institute of Technology is a women university. Here we are given opportunities to do explore our hidden talents with help of councils which are technical and non-technical. It not only focuses on studies but all-round development of students by arranging various activities, festivals, and guest lecturers. I am glad to be a part of this prestigious college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course or up to date with other universities. We are also introduced to new software which is developed in recent years.There are guests lecturers to speak on different topics.Teachers here are helpful and cooporative.Mrs Rajni Nair is one such faculty who listens to our problem and help us to solve them.

College Events

We have student council. Apart from that we have four technical council and four non technical council.Technical are CSI,IEEE,ACM,E-Cell and non technical are Sports council, NSS,UAA, and anti-ragging committes. Every council has there own fest. They all are celebrated with great enthusiasm.Stundent Council has fest name Arcane which is done on large scale.Different colleges participate in it and enjoy it.

Campus Life

The college has a total of five floors, for every subject, there is a different lab. All equipment for the lab is sufficient.we have two libraries one is a college library and the other is the central library. Reference books are always available to read. Sports activities are also given the importance, we have a basketball court, Kho-Kho ground, volleyball, throw ball, badminton, chess, carrom, and TableTennis are also available

The Placement Cell is responsible for the placement process. It is not very streamlined. Getting a job is considered tough, usually, the student has to search for it themselves. The average package offered is about 4 Lakhs which is okayish. Usually, students go for masters in Europe which is one of the best options. About 40 people apply for placements out of 180 students and out of that about 20-30 get placed.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
