Remarks

The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA. The average salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 2-4 LPA. About 80-90% of the student from our course got placed in top recruiting companies. About 70-80% of the student from our course got an internship.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers in our college were very knowledgeable and helpful. The teaching quality was good. The course makes students aware of mechanical engineering works. But I suggest there should be some improvements in practical based teaching. The other staff, like the librarian, lab assistant, peon, etc., were also helpful.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 90560 per year

Placement Experience

None of the companies visited here for conducting interviews. I don't know if they didn't come or didn't invite for placement. In the whole course, only one company came to offer us an internship. Our college only gives us an advertisement of the vacancies. They didn't conduct any placement drives, which was necessary.

College Events

Various cultural and technical events are conducted in college and all the Students are active in various group and clubs. Various events such as abhigyan, ebluenza, pioneer,etc are conducted every year

Campus Life

Classrooms and infrastructure of our college are well designed for educational purposes. Laboratories and libraries are decent to watch and work in it. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel is having a capacity of more than 125 students per floor, containing 5 floors for separate year-wise students

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are good and there are many PG's available near the college and locality is also good. The hostel condition is good, but isn't that hygienic. More improvement is need and can be done. Manyer times the wifi isn't working.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

An underrated college in kolhapur

I chose this college because the fees is very affordable and the return on investment is good. Placements are also fine and they are improving every year.
