Remarks

As it is a government college only for women and have great placement opportunities. Infrastructure of the college is kind of okay. The faculty is also Good. Academic vise it's overall good. Just should enhance and try to concentrate on practical experience than theories.

Course Curriculum Overview

Overall syllabus is good. I think they should focus on practical experience more than the theories. They also provide us with facilities related to labs. Faculty is overall decent. They do have helping nature. Just try to maintain the attendance and be active in studies.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Placement Experience

Many companies like Barclays, Deloitte, Jpmorgan, Accenture, TCS, etc comes to the college to recruit students. 70% of the students the job via the placements offered by the college itself. Others opt to study further or maybe start their own business.

College Events

There are mostly technical events taking place in the college. Though the best one is the Arcanes the annual festival of the college. Many celebrities come to judge and appreciate the young talent taking part from many other colleges and UMIT itself.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is pretty decent considering its a government college. We do have sports council who provides us opportunity of playing many sports like volleyball, box cricket,etc. College does have wifi facility too.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Placement Experience:

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
