Life at Dayanada Sagar. A journey to remember

Amazing infrastructure and Campus, the Best part of the city, Great Student culture. Bangalore University Accreditation, Amazing Library. Outdated syllabi, Less practical approach, Careless Management, No attendance no exams. Attendance is more important than anything. The admission process starts in June, it is a straight walk in. Deposit the fee and you are good to go if you have 50 percent-plus in PUC. Some friends were already studying here and gave decent reviews about the college so Joined.

I choose BBA to prepare myself for MBA since I was new to commerce and I always wanted to have a commerce degree. The faculty-student ratio overall is 20:1. All the teachers are well qualified even some holding Ph.D.'s but the teaching method is a sham. They can do a lot better if they make some changes. Exams were semester wise and every semester lasted about 5 months with passing the exam was comparatively easy but not for all subjects as University controls the exams.

You become eligible from the start of the 6th semester but need to have about 60 percent Overall marks in previous semesters to become eligible for Interviews. Deutsche Bank, IBM, HP, Wipro visited and about 20 offers were made which is about 10 percent of the total people in the course. Offers ranging from 200000 to 500000. I didn't opt for an interview as I had plans for further studies.

The fee structure is different for every new Joinee, They increase fees every year for new Admissions but they will give you an admission letter at the start which will include all the details about your fee for the rest of the college which doesn't change. I didn't apply for any scholarships but there are opportunities.

The campus is less campus and more like a resort, Built over SM Hills, All good except the snakes inside the campus. I made great friends who are still friends, Some became business partners. Annual Tech Fest is furore which is conducted in July. Books are available in the Library, They have 2 libraries. Classrooms are spacious and with basic Whiteboard and Projectors with Fans.
