I applied to quite a few colleges in west bengal but Gokhale was my first preference and once I got in here, i decided to stay here and persue my graduation from this college itself. The admission was smooth, but in the payment process, I didn't get my money back from few colleges I applied for but didn't continue. All the candidates should keep an update of news and links of admission. SC and ST will get benifits along with OBCs, Calcutta University has bad placements and the syllabus has become a Little bit difficult. Our admission process started in July 2021 amidst the 2nd wave of the pandemic, hence there wasn't any entrance exam and the selection was done on the basis of merit i.e., performance in the boards. Merit lists were published on the official website on the basis of the merit score acquired by the student. The application form is made available on the official website with the necessary details about the fee structure. Reservation was there for the SC st and obc though I applied for the general category. The admission process is much smoother and easier. the only improvement that may be applied is that, though in today's era of digital world we need to keep pace with the digital world, however, if the payment for admission is made possible both online and offline mode then it would be easier and helpful for those who still hesitate in making payments online....Read More
