Gokhale Memorial Girls College is the best College in Kolkata for studying Communicative English, and the faculty is really good. Every student is valued, and given individual care. Communicative English is a practical based course, which would help to avail a variety of jobs after graduation.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really useful in practical life and prepares us for life, especially in communication. It gives us a variety of career options, and the subject is interesting. The faculty is really good and helps the students in understanding everything. Most of the work is done in class, in an interesting and informative manner. The HOD of the Communicative English department is one of the best teachers I ever had.
Placement Experience
Our College is well known, and has a good reputation among various companies. At the end of 3 years, we have to do an internship and then get placements on the basis of campus recruitment. Most of the students get satisfactory job placements after graduation.
College Events
Inspite of the College campus being small, the classrooms are spacious enough. The ventilation is good and the College canteen also provides good food everyday. Sports and Annual Day function is held every year, apart from other extra curricular activities like Exhibitions. All the students participate in these programs actively.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Kanyashree program is offered by our College, if the student secures a certain percentage of marks and fits the criteria required for the donation.
