To study in a different culture and to study in a college that offered so much experience and exposure. I liked most about the college was the kind of opportunity they give to their students is immense. Chose B. Com to have the fundamental knowledge in the field of business and commerce.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course in total taught not just theory but alot of practical work. From industrial visits, to placements to workshops to national and international seminars to webinars to resource person talks and etc it was a huge platform of opportunities offered by the department of commerce regular at St. Teresa's College. We had 4 teachers and 1 male guest lecturer everyone was exceptionally good. Ms. Ann, Ms. Jency, Ms. Rini and Ms Sruthi were brilliant teachers and experts in the field of commerce.

1) Wandertrails - A travel experience company in bangalore - Rs. 5000 per month. Had to send my cv and cover letter. and had to go through a test (operation and english related questions)2) Punar Studio - Event & Film Company - Rs. 10, 000 per project - worked as an assistant to an art director3) Mad Genius Productions - Social Media Marketer - Unpaid internship
Placement Experience
Wipro, Tommy Hilfiger & Calvin Klien and many more. The stages are different for each companies. Online test, Group Discussions and Personal Interview. The position tommy hilfiger offered was CRO with a salary of 20k per month. Many many entrepreneurs in college, Current famous ones are Jean Couture, Nea's Baking Delights, Flaws and Flour, SAGE, and many more.
College Events
I am who i am because of my college. I was the head of the college fashion team and the space warrior (campus ambassador) of Under 25. I headed a team of 115 members and brought in India's largest youth festival (campus version) to our college by bringing speakers like Jordindian, Anto Philip, Kavya Ajith, Vineeth Vincent and many more in that line. As a head if the fashion team we have been placed in several fests and the biggest achievement was when we were the first college from kerala to win a prize at Mount Carmel Bangalore Cul Ah Fest (we were placed third for fashion show)
