Anonymous's Review On VIT Bhopal University, Bhopal

It has CSE Specialisation in Artificial intelligence and Machine learning. Ai ML is in high demand so I took the course. I had passed JEE Main but did not get any NIT or IIIT. So I took admission in VIT Bhopal. Since Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning is a new and emerging field I thought that studying it will help me rise in life.

Course curriculum is fine.It is updated. We did not have any industrial exposure till now.The faculties are fine. Some are good while some are trying to be good. Some don't have knowledge at all.Teachers are not very strict. They just come and teach. They do not care about what students are doing. Only thing they threat students about is attendance. Because a minimum of 75% attendance is needed.

No companies have visited the college till now. The first batch of 4th year students will graduate this year and then only it will be known how the placements and job opportunities are. There is an entrepreneur cell in college. They conduct some seminars.

There are paid technical fests,cultural fests. They usually have almost 200 students of the college. Their are no inter college competitions or fest. Many workshops are held which are mostly of no use. They just call some one from another city or a VIT alumnus and take money from us forcibly.

Sports facilities are very bad. Their is only one badminton court cum basketball court which hardly opens.Thier is a badminton court in boys hostel which is always full. Their is wifi which is good. Library is not very good there are not many books. There are hardly any lab. There are only computer labs which are used by us.

The hostel rooms are very bad. They are smaller than the toilets in my house. There are many options available like 2,3,4,6 people sharing a room. The beds are horrible. They are somehow made above the study table and almirah. It is very uncomfortable. The hostel infrastructure is very poor. The rooms are bad, toilets are often unclean. The mess is good.The overall cost of hostel is very high compared to the facilities they provide. There are no playing areas. No place to walk or jog.The cost of 2 bed sharing room for one year is 156000 and it decreases for more bed sharing rooms.
