Remarks

It is located in a safe environment especially for girls coming from different towns and states. Location is very important. We can easily travel from the university to other places. Easy commute to places.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus were easy and updated. But the faculties teach like school teachers. We didnot have any industrial exposure. But our junior batches get thats privilage. the dean, dr. Hemalatha is the best.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

There are very few core companies that visited for biotech department. Very few students get placed in the core companies. Others easily get placed in IT companies. Very few students opted to work. Most students prefer studying further.

College Events

The events are conducted by college and mostly by departments. The technical events conducted once a year which are really helpful. Cultural event takes place once a year. But the management do not provide sufficient funds for these events

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any scholarship or loan facility offered by college. But there are students who get scholarship which are offered by the college depending upon their academic performances and other extra curricular activities.

Campus Life

The infrastructure are the best in this college. It includes sports facilities, wifi, library, labs, canteens, etc. the library is huge with all kinds of academic books. In labs in life sciences are really good, but size us small.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are the best. I would say it had the best infrastructure in chennai. It is also very safe for girls. But it is little expensive. I paid around 1.25 lakhs for a single room. But shared rooms cost around 90k

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.

About My University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I influenced by my friends who joined in this course ,later on I adjusted with it ,the curriculum prepares students in which they are capable to understand in their own way with which they build up projects and expos and many more events conducted by the other collages to participate in it. It is a tough situation to deal with it because the minimal gap between the sessionals is 1.5 month so for students it a stress to cover the syllabus of all subjects and with project works etc.

I applied for SRM institute of science and technology and vellore institute of technology. I chose Crescent over all of them because the fee structure was a bit high. I was offered Btech Cse course in SRM KTR and VIT AP. To get admission in the college I am currently studying in, you have to write CIEAT exam.
