Remarks

Being a girl I felt very safe to take admission in this College.All the staff here is very cooperative.As my many family members learnt here I was having a good idea about the environment in these college.Now I'm very happy with my decision.

Course Curriculum Overview

In umit the education point of view it is very weak.I think the education facility should be increased.All the equipments in the laboratory should be increased.there is a shortage of the equipments in the laboratory so because of that all students cannot do practical individually.Some of the faculties are very good and cooperative.

Deloitte,Accenture, Colgate, Tata motors, Capgemini all these company visited our college.Every year based on marks candidates are selected.mostly all student are getting placed who did really well during the whole academics,others have to work hard to get placed that too off campus.

College Events

The outside campus is really very attractive and greenary. It's nature beauty.Our college having many events,many extracurricular activities.I think here we are having extra knowledge more rather than continuous studies.

Campus Life

I think the infrastructure is very old and poor.when we do our chem or phy practicals in lab the paint was falling down.The infrastructure should be developed. The coloring work should be done.As the college will look good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Placement Experience:

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
