Remarks

Engineering is one of the best choices for a better career in future. Indeed in every sectors of employment we need an engineer. Every department consist of enough faculties .HOD s are highly qualified and efficient .Classes are taken in English so that inter state students can also learn. Internal exams are conducted every month. Teaches provide complete guidance and facilities to attend the examination

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties here are extremely good and friendly and is always ready to help you either with your academics , projects etc . Each student is assigned with a mentor whom we can approach in case of a problem. Most of the faculties have high qualifications , like MTech and PhD . The faculties try to make the classes more interactive and engaging through video presentations , flip classrooms etc. We have 3 IAT's conducted which is as per the VTU norm.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

t 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The package differs from 2 lakh per annum to 14 lakh per annum. 80% of students getting in placements. After my degree I will do higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 55000 per semester for each stream Scholarship of 10000 is available for SC quota students and fees is remitted for them by govt of punjab. Financial assistance is given to the students who are economically weak.

Campus Life

Good teacher and student interactive classes . Teachers are dedicated to study and course. Professor are well qualified and share their knowledge with students positively. 2 sessional exams and 1 external exam is conducted per semester for each subject. Sessional exam is for 1 hr and external exam is for 3 hr and marks distribution is according to university guidelines

The scene of placement is good here. Companies visit and offer on campus placement. College also train us for interview round . The highest package offered here last year was 51 lakh per annum. Average package is around 6 lakh per annum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum has the necessary subjects of the branch...It is constantly updated every year to adhere to relevancy and comphrehensiveness of the course..My department of AIML teaches us the necessary computer subjects such as Nature Inspired computing, Deep learning etc and also the Maths and Stats whch is required for machine learning is though too ( Like Maths for machine learn and statistical modellign, inferential statistics, time series analysis etc)..These subjects also have lab components which help us prepare for real-world applications. But some of the older subjects on the other hand which might be core computer science or in first year..common subjects like CAED and others are not required and outdated. The frequency and timings of exams is moderate..neither good nor bad

My Real Experience as a First Year DSAI Student at IIIT Dharwad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Though i needed cse with cybersecurity but i didnt get it so i went with Robotics and ai. In first year they have many subjects of all course which are basic and fundamentals of all branches Some are good in real world application They should add more practical stuff then theories We have 1 to 1½ month gap betwen internals and some 10 days gap between 2nd internal and sem difficult level varies every year
