Remarks

I had listened that this college is best for science in whole college that's why I choose this college. The college is very well constructed and maintained but the system of 85% quota to Chandigarh students is not good. Because as I had scored 90% marks in +2 so I got seat after 6th counselling but the Chandigarh students with even 40% marks got seat in college in first counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is very good. But some of the senior faculty members are not good because they didn't know how to teach students even sometimes they even don't come to classes to deliver lectures. While some of the teachers are PhD and even double PhD but there knowledge is not enough good

Placement Experience

3

The college offers placements for those students who are in 3rd year of bsc computer science. This is bad thing because other students didn't find any opportunity of placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is very nominal. Even it is very affordable. So this the good thing. But the scholarships given in the college are only for those students which have some quota likewise sc, bc, sikh minority etc. But the student with general category don't find any scholarships.

Campus Life

4

The conduction of fest and all functions are very good. But the library has lack of new books. It has the books of even 10-15 years old. Otherwise the classes are well constructed but some of them are not well maintained.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel rooms are very good. But the quality of meal is good. Even sometimes students have been admitted to hospitals became of their food quality. Otherwise the feed of hostel is very less and affordable.

Other Applied Colleges

Post Graduate government college for girls, sector-42, Chandigarh | B. Sc. (Non-Med)

I took this college as second preference. After I got seat in my current college I left this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It really depends upon the course itself. A good curriculum includes preparing students for what's out there. Faculty here teaches the core concepts along with staying up to date with the trends and new technologies, it helps to connect the theory part with practicals. Therefore our course is relevant and comprehensive.

Curriculum is prepared well. I chose medical as i was a medical student. Curriculum is prepared in such a wau that it will help you out in the real world too. Improvement is required in the books as some of the books are out dated. Timing of exams are accurate we get enough time to prepare for the exam and difficulty level is moderate.
