Remarks

The infrastructure of the college is too good, proper facilities are given, the hostel is just 15 mins walk away from college. The admission process includes a CET exam from which a merit list is generated and as per the merit list, admission is done. Located in the Orange City of India, the study environment is good and because of the large campus, the departments are divided into distinct wings.

Course Curriculum Overview

A person who used to play with computers day and night and fascinated by technology, so I choose Computer Technology. Talking about faculty, they are highly qualified and the teacher-student ratio for each department is 1:2. Poor assignments are given and submission should be done on time. The exams are scheduled timely and even the display of results is done in a timely.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 79000 per year

Placement Experience

The students from the 6th semester are eligible for Campus Placements. TCS, Infosys, Syntel, Amazon, etc have visited the campus with an annual package of 3.5L- 4.8L. Almost 80% of students got placed during the campus drive. I am currently busy with my Cloud Computing course from Coursera.

Fees and Financial Aid

For SC, the fee is 500 For ST, the fee is approximate 10K-11K For OBC, the fee is approximate 43K-45K For General, fees are approximate 79K-80K Scholarships are available to only SC/ST/OBC students

Campus Life

Annual Fest is held during February month and the name of the fest is Ashwamedh. The library is the best place to study as per my point of view. Lots of books to choose from. Amenities include projector study and camera for proper surveillance. Intra-department sports are held in every Odd semester and Inter-Department sports are held during the first few days of Annual Fest.

Hostel Facilities

A proper bed is given, a table, Cupboard is provided Meal quality is average, Menu includes Baigan, Bhindi, Mixed Veg, and stuff. During admission, the college administration provides the details regarding hostel accommodation.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I appleid for ycce college , raisoni and priyadarshini college of engineering in which i got priyadarshini with branch etc which was unexpected . I was not expecting this but when i researched and studied i found it was worth getting as it has many facilities than other college and the staff is wonderful. I dont no what went wrong with me in other colleges as i was eligible for it i got 82% in cet exam but i didn't get it. For getting admission in pce you should pass 10+2 with good percentage and should appear for cet . You can directly get admission or can get through the cap round....Read More
