Remarks

College and environment is good. It is political campus. Mostly sfi is ruling all years. Good campus with a canteen, gymnasium and womens hostel Admission based on kerala university orders. It is less distance between my house. I just selected college because in alappuzha only this college is aided in bsc computer science batch.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

I love computer science subject. +2 qualification required for ug and degree for pg Teachers are friendly but some have partiality. Permanent teachers are good but some guest teachers are not good.because they are selected by recommendation. There are 3 year courses with 6 semesters. It is easier for pass but mark scoring is difficult because of strict valuation.

Placement Experience

4

3 rd year students are eligible for campus recruitments. Also they must pass all semester that the result published. Infosys, webtech are companies which call for recruitments. There is percentage offered above 60 in semesters. I want to join mca.

Fees and Financial Aid

3500 per year But there is scholarship called KPCR by kerala govt. Which take fees directly from scholarship.exam fees is also taken.

Campus Life

3

There are different variety of fest like arts day, youth festivals, college day, sports day, valentines day, food fest, onam, christmas etc. Libraries contains not much books as we wants. But 2 librarians are available in all working time. Classroom is big and have sufficient benches and desk. Also supports kalolsavam and sports meet by physical education dept and have a gymnasium. There is volleyball, football, cricket and kabaddi teams. There is NCC( 1 kerala, 11 kerala, 7 kerala (navel)), NSS ( won best nss team for years), and so many clubs like bhoomitra sena, arts, music etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There is only womens hostel.Room is bigger. It contains 4 beds, 2 table, 1 almara. And have 10 toilets in each floor. There are 2 floor with so many rooms. The student must enter hostel before 6 pm and mobile phone will be collected before 8 pm by warden. The mess is big and food is good and fresh. Also there were so many room and houses for rent near the college for boys also..

Reviewed on Nov 18, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
