Remarks

The college experience that I had was nothing short of perfection. The infrastructure was amazing. The campus was green and clean. The classrooms were very spacious and the seating was comfortable. The teachers who interviewed me were friendly and the admission procedure went smoothly. I’ve always heard about this college especially from people in North Bangalore. It is known for giving chances to all students and allows individual growth for everyone. I participated a lot, attended several competitions and workshops and won prizes for several occasions. All of this really come in handy at the time of the commencement of your professional career. The teachers of my department were extremely sweet and friendly. The classes were very interactive. They were approachable and made us feel like family. The management was good too. As for student life, I’ve made a lot of lifetime friends in this college. New Bel is nearby so that’s a great place to hangout.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I’ve always had interest in Literature, Psychology and Journalism so that’s when I choose this. Teachers are the best part of this college. They are very very very friendly. We watched documentaries in class, went for workshops and even sat in the lawn and studied. It was great fun. The term exams happened every six months. We also had preparatory and CIAs. We had blue books where we wrote our assignments and also gained points by being members of clubs and associations.

Internships Opportunities

5

Every student is made to do an internship at least once. Most of us preferred doing it in Psychology

Placement Experience

5

I didn’t opt for placement because I enrolled for Masters. But my friends who opted for placements got in to big companies. Placements were conducted at least eight months in advance

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very low compared to other colleges. No hidden costs were involved. It was just one tile fess’s at the time of admission

Campus Life

5

Awesome. We had so many fests. Every Department has its fests. Recipro and Mayurika are the Main fests that happen. Then we had days like Library day and Environmental Day. Every student was a part of a club. Clubs usually met twice a month. The library had plenty of books. The librarian Nancy Ma’am and another sir, they are friendly too. We had magazines, research books and periodicals as well.

Interview Experience

5

I faced an interview where I was both asked about my previous academic experience. Then I was told about the learning experience that the college was to provide

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the dual degree that it has to offer, christ is one of the very few institutions that offer dual degree and allow you to explore both the subjects or gain combined knowledge of both the subjects. The curriculum is very up to date with subjects that relate to real world problems. What i like the most about my curriculum is the Learner centric approach where they divide the class into halves so that the teacher student ratio can be maintained in order to achieve full efficiency. One area of improvement can be inculcating more soft skills traininng into it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

- curriculum specially for BA is not like how you see in other universities it's a comprehensive curriculum where your also studying subject like AI learning, data analysis, regional languages and so much more it is a comprehensive course which is not only focusing on your major but also on an overall development of you as a student.. - well we are not only getting in-class lectures but we also have a internal component of internship every year which helps us get an experience of real world situations and job market. -There is one course called numbers we have that could be improved it basically talks about mathematical in economic applications numerical implications particularly which has not been given more thought on it could be more elaborated and structured well. - frequency is high and difficulty is moderate usually.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students arw given chances to take exams and get job opportunities from there. Field trips and internships, orientations, talk shows are organized to prepare students further before stepping out for jobs. They can either take the placements they get or opt for higher studies, which is what i am doing as a degree in psychology alone does not grant a wide scope in the jobs spectrum.
