Remarks

Admin department was not orgsnised and sometimes rude, rest not much of exposure in terms of Sports, no inter sports meet with other colleges or intra with other Amity campus, Fees is on higher side for management courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is appropriately designed and course is divided into 6 months semester, each semester will have internal evaluation which have 25 percent weightage, 5 percent goes for a project or assignment and rest 70 end semester exam. Most of the courses are industry oriented with few research oriented. Everything right from people, faculty, method of teaching, education transparent and fair. They help you to grow as an individual, imparted good ethics, morals and with emphasis on providing world class education, thus making an expert in your area, later help you getting a job.

Appear for interview on the given date or when particular company arrives.4-5 rounds conducted by varous companies. Results will declared and you are supposed to join after the completiin of your last semester, they provide you with dates. They provide end- semester internship which is usually not industry based, sometimes they provide referrals for other companies from where you can pursue you internship. 80- 90 percent per batch gets placed annually, now a days it may be high.

College Events

5

Tech seminars, TED talks, poster presentation, job fairs science exhibitions, annual fest, freshers meet, teachers day celebrations, Farewell night, Webinars, Environment day, Sports day meet. Every department in unversity has their own college fest like I was biotech which is called Amity Institute of Biotechnology, so we have atleast 6-7 departements or may be more now with one central or say common university fest. They have student body which is divided into sub groups taking care various department like administratiin, tech support, logistics, hospitality and management etc. Also various dance groups choir, various sports teams etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is moderately expensive this also depends upon which course you choose. Every sem there is an increase 3-5 percent on previous sem fee like if 1st sem was 56000 then 56000 plus 5 percent of 56000. They accept fees in form of cheque. My first sem was 53000, then 56000 and so on. No additional fees or charges, may be exam fee or some defaulter fee, re examination fees. Full transparency with detailed bill and challan.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not opted for loan, yes scholarship opportunities are there, but not sure whether still there or not, this is actuly course specific.

Campus Life

Female to male ratio was on higher side, in my course itself we had 10 girls 3 boys, I mean ratio wise. No dorm parties, unofficialnwere conducted usually by seniors outside the college, like we gave to our juniors, not much of workshops were conducted in my course. Population is quite diverse we have students from all across India say nirth south, north east, west, every where from small cities and towns like Kannuaj, Agra and big cities Mumbai and Chennai, though local crowd was on lower side. There was no discrimination based upon class, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, political status or economic status. People over don' t even think about all of this, though its little fancy world there but people are good quite tolerate and like sharing.

Hostel Facilities

Yes. superb well maintained, clean hygienic, no mess, yes both sharing and individual rooms available but who wants to stay alone. hehe just kidding, washrooms and bathrooms were clean. I don't remember average rental.

Alumni/Alumna

Senoirs were quite cool, they gave as unofficial fresher party, they ise help us with notes, assignment and specially in labs with experiments. Not much of it was we left the college.

Admission

I got to know about the institution through one of friend, who was already doing Btech from there, it was in year 2009 when I got myself admitted into one of Biotech full time course. I opt for it as I was from biology background and I wanted to something both related to tech and science. I choose this institute on reputation, its world class courses, amenities, dedicated well qualified Professors, it offers Placements, also enrolls their students for research studies or as lecturers in their own university. Also hostels are cool, people are cool, this place has hot nice vibe to it. It has premium food outlets like pizza hut, CCD, an so many other food outlet, mess food is lit. You can also shop for stationary and other items foe daily use. There is an ice cream parlour. The institute is also good for those who are interested in sports and other curricular activities. Admission procedure is simple an straightforward. Need to fill a form, attach your educational document, they provide you on spot test and will declare the result on same day or sometimes they will give you a date for further formalities, they also provide on boaed education counselling which helps a lot in making a choice to choose the correct course. There is a wide range courses this university offers except medicine related courses like MBBS. Admission usually starts in April/May session.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jims is a ipu college, so yeah curriculum depends entirely on ipu University. First year is similar for all btech courses. Or is easy to earn marks in lab and soft skill subjects but maths or physics is hard. Your 12th basics should be very good, else these two subjects will affect your overall SGPA badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced syllabus, which includes both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is designed in a way that builds a strong foundation in core subjects while also introducing advanced topics gradually. This helps students understand subjects deeply rather than just studying for exams.

Honestly speaking I don't like the curriculum of my college. Everything is same which people studied 20 years ago . Only few things has been changed and I don't understand why we need to study about things which don't have any existence in reality. They should focus on current tech and provide more learning opportunities in AI.

Yes they do provide campus placement last year only almost 70 students were offered jobs in campus placement. But in our case most of the students have their own plans like the majority of them are generational lawyers so either they'll join their firms or they have very good contacts so they'll get places easily but in my case as a first generation lawyer we do get internship or assessment internship in which we get very good chances to get PPO they we don't have to relay on college for campus placement. In my case if i didn't get campus placement then wherever I've done my internship I'll try to convert my internship into a PPO
