Remarks

College was good but started degrading day by day by mis mangement

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and exam structure was defined by the Rajasthan Technical universisty, kota. So, the college role was minimal for the same. The entire structure was looked upon by all the colleges under the university. But the exam structure and course was nice.

Placement Experience

0.5

The placement was a big zero. There was only one drive and that too an open drive where around 8000 students enrolled and gave exam for 20 seats. The placements were not happening and each student got placed on its own. Even there was no help from the Training and Placement cell

College Events

4

This is a good place as our college celebrated it fest with pomp and show. There were various colleges that participated and kept cash prices for winners. Almost all colleges from Jaipur and some from outstations joined the fest. The music fest was also amazing and promising

Fee Structure And Facilities

At that moment the fees was feasible as it followed the government norms and also the hostel facilities were very nice with attached washrooms. Overall the fees structure was good and college accepted all modes of payment available at that time. It was a smooth process

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, availed a loan where I submitted my documents with the admission details along with fees receipt along with my parents details and got the loan and paid it post my college

Campus Life

The gender ratio was not so good. It was a 70-30 ratio favoring the boys. The events mentioned were there as there was a club for each topic and the club members actively kept thier clubs working and organizing a lot of competitions. i would rate it on high standards

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I was in the hostel which had options of 2-3 seaters with attached washroom. The hostel was built new and all facilities were provided like water coolers, air ducts for cool air, wifi connectivity. Overall the entire stay was nice

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the seniors were very helpful. They helped us prepare for exams and shared the notes and even after college the bonding is great where the seniors helped a lot by revering us to the companies for the job placements

Admission

Entrance exam. I opted for this course as was interested in computers. I submitted my rank and was selected on the basis. I was given my choice of course and paid the fees. The entire process was smooth and was able to cope up with it. It was a structured process

Faculty

4

Faculty at our time was really good and knowledgeable. They acted a friends and made us clear our concepts very well. We were able to clear our doubts with ease and really enjoyed the lectures. Most of the faculty have moved out and in respectable positions

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle, bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

Birla Institute of Technology - [BIT], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Electronics & Communication Engineering)
Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
