Remarks

Good remarks are: Well maintained and greenary college. No harsh rules for students. Moderate college timings. Freedom for students.Bad remarks are: Placements, Teaching, Labs, practical knowledge, College Events, Entertainment.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is good, teaching staff is not so great. Few senior staff are good at teaching and most of the other staff's teaching is not great. The curriculum which I was taught is relevant and helps us to attain jobs yet few additional courses needs to be taught based on market demand.

Placement Experience

1

Biggest problem with this college is placements. They lack in placing students in companies, they lack in bringing the companies to the college, they lack in training students with relevant courses which a company attending the college expects to have it from students. No proper announcements were given regarding campus placements.

College Events

0.5

Events happen very rarely in this college. If some event is going to happen it'll be post college hours. I attended few events in college which are not great. Yarona is one college fest which I really liked among all the events conducted. Cultural events and festivals don't often happen, if they happen, they won't be entertaining.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I joined college in 2014. The tution fee for academics is 165000 per annum. I was offered with 50% scholarship and thus it's around 82k per annum. Good thing about the academic fee is that they won't charge any other fee like exam fee, book fee, etc. They accept Card Payment, Cash, DD to collect the tution fee. The college intimates students to ready the tution fee like 3 months before the deadline and provide some grace period for late fee payers.

Fees and Financial Aid

I was offered with scholarship by the college administration. They checked my 10th, +1 and +2 English and Maths marks and their percentage. They offered me 50% scholarship. In general a joinee with good academic marks will be provided with 25-50% scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus is covered with greenary, it's so nice to stay inside college. Gender ratio is 7 boys to 3 girls. There are no harsh rules between opposite genders. Opposite gender can communicate with eachother anywhere in the college. There are rules that are for wellness and good discipline of students. Coming to workshops there will be plenty of workshops going on regular basis.

Hostel Facilities

No, I didn't opt for hostel since the hostels doesn't seem good at infrastructure, eminities, food and there are restrictions going out of college. I chose to stay in PG which costs around 6k to 8k depending on location, food quality and room size and number of tenants.

Alumni/Alumna

There's a Facebook group for current students and Alumni students where one can interact with other. Personally I never interacted with anyone but it's really helpful to communicate with our College students or Alumni.

Admission

Firstly, I saw this college in university ranking website. I went to College office for admission, they saw my 10th, +1 and +2 marks, mainly focused on Maths and English marks and offered admission with 50% scholarship in tution fee. I opted CSE because I love learning software development.

Faculty

2

Only few lecturers got PhD. There are 3 staff who are senior and have good experience and knowledge in subject. They have around 45 to 55 years of age. Their way of teaching is great and knowledge sharing is up to the mark. Few other teaching staff has masters degree, their age will be around 35 to 50. Few staff have good knowledge in subject while few are not up to the mark.

The curriculum we have is set by the government so we can't change it but when it comes to an elective subject we can't choose it, the college decides it on behalf of the students. for a semester there will be 2 cycle tests a model exam and then the final exam. they will train you well so you can easily get above 80% in your final exam if you follow their instructions.
