Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of 4 yrs.Faculties were good & very helpful. Total 4 years, 8 semesters and each semester of six monthsI was very happy to say it was a good discision that I opted DIATM.

Internships Opportunities

B.Tech course doesnot contain any internship criteria. What we required to do inspite of internship is to go through a vocational training course. No stripend offered.

Placement Experience

My college gives a good placement oppertunity to its students. Renouned companies like TCS,TECH MAHINDRA, MCNALLY BHARAT and many more come in our college and take freshers.

College Events

Many fests are organised in the college. Like cultural fests. Technical fests. Tech fests are something to develop technical interests among the future enginners.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college follows UGC norms. All the colleges those are under WBUT follow same fee structure. In my time it was rs 20500 per semester. Now it is rs 36000 per semester. Which is very feasible I guess.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loan facility is available from bank of India. I got a huge amont of rebate of rs17500 for taking loan from Bank of India.

Campus Life

Each year college organises various extra carricular activities like sports, fests, debates etcIt is having around 3000 studens of various religion states. Though mostly are from west bengal and bihar and jharkhand.

IIT KGP: The kgpian way

Placement Experience:

4 yr btech students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of their 3rd yr(5th sem) and for placement 7th sem. 5 yr dual degree students are eligible for cdc internship from the starting of 4th yr(7th sem) and for placement 9th sem. So many different profile companies came for placements like amazon, google, ibm, apple, l&t, wipro, infosys, texas intrument, etc. Highest package was 3cr and average is about 20-25 lakhs. Insightful Review - Revealing about campus life and academics.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semeter. Companies visited till now are : tejes - 9lpa, keysite - 7lpa, streebo - 5lpa and a few other product based companies with average pakage offered about 3lpa. Higest pakage - salesforce (32 lpa) off campus, keysite (7lpa) on campus. Last year 60% of total students from final year got placed. My plans is to purusue a higher degree as placement scene of your college is not that great and also i have intrest in ai/ml so i want to study future and dive more deep into its concepts

The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.
