My college review

Definitely a good college I would like to refer to

I did the course in 1997, So the course was definitely relevant at that time, which helped me to go for my post graduation MBA. The curriculum was nicely designed which was relevant with the times and as per the demand of the market skills required.

As I did Bachelor degree in the college, the campus placement was there. I also wanted to pursue Post graduation, so it didnt make any difference to me.

Cultural events, Annual gathering, games like dummy share market which was useful for Commerce students to learn while having fun. Also SP College is famous to participate in inter college popular marathi drama competitions like 'Purushottam karandak' etc.

As I did it in 1997, I do not really recollect it now, but it was in a budget of a middle class student like me, it was not complicated and it was transparent as well. Also the admin staff would help us to fill in the form and the receipts properly.

Our gender ration was almost equal. The college is having a huge ground which manages multiple sports simultaneously. Also it has its own gym. The lab for science students is also nice I heard. Our library was also huge and I used to study there. We had a nice canteen and a garden as well within the premise.

No, as I was a localite. I am from Pune city itself, so I didnt need a hostel. so I do not have the hostel life experience which may be I missed, but yes, having your own home is definitely a good in any case.

SP College has its alumni forum which organises annual get to gether for all the past students every year.

I wanted to pursue commerce and SP College is having a goodwill and a good name when it comes to the colleges in Pune. Also I was having a good marks in 10th which helped me to get my name in the admission list of the college. SP College is so popular in Pune that my all friends also tried for it.

The faculties were also good at the college. I do still remember our Hindi teacher, he is one of the best teachers I have ever seen. I used to love to attend his lectures. Also our other faculties were also good - Be it the subjects like Economics, Costing and Accountancy etc.
