from the final semester the students become eligible for placments. Various tier 1 companies visit the institute and offer campus placements range from crores to a six digit salary figure. The profiles generally offered are SDE, data analyst, data scientist, management role, consultant and mnay others. though the details of the placement remain confidential.

The Placements were good and it was increasing yaer by year with good names and CTC the student gets eligible after 6th Sem the highest package was 20LPa Average was 5lpa moreover more than 60% were getting placed

I known their course syllabus system is good. In the college students has Good attendence ratio. They can take some qualfied students They can take exams on time to time and most of students passed. And Give many papers back

As my previous experience was in Bridge Engineering , so on the basis of that IIT ROORKEE is best among others ,as it offers a course named as Masters in Structural Engineering with diversification in Bridge Engineering , which makes to choose this Institute specifically over others.Admission took place though multiple doors :- First is through GATE Score without any GD or PI or both Second one is through Sponsored Category like of mine Third one is through Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) For more information on admission you may refer to IIT ROORKEE PG Admission latest Information Brochure.I think it is not a Bad aspect of institute , but Institute must do certain reforms in it's admission process as till now IITR took admission directly on the basis of GATE SCORE for M.Tech / MURP courses which , but I will suggest that in future IIT ROORKEE must took admission for the same programme through GATE Score as well as GD or PI or Both , result of which it increase the opportunities of many relatively lower GATE scores candidates to took dream of doing their Masters from reputed IIT ROORKEE For Dates Tentatively application started from the month of April every year Last date to submit the application - last of April Results announced through COAP portal ( you need to separately register yourself on COAP portal to participate in the counselling process of all IIT's) in multiple rounds along with some Additional round & spot round I don't search or see any forum or websites or blog while selecting this college because in my previous company I made many visits to IIT ROORKEE by which I came to know many more about it automatically .

There are tons of extracurricular activities present here. From sports to arts, everything is here. There's nothing only for boys or girls, every event is equally arranged for active participation of all students. And I feel negativity about the study hrs which is almost 10 hrs.

The admission depends upon the GATE entrance exam and 45% scored in the undergraduate to enroll in the course. The results and merit lists provide information about admission. Luckily, my name appeared on the list.

As per my personal and professional view, Roorkee College of Engineering, Roorkee is the best college in India.

This is a magnificent academy with an excellent teacher and super friendly and helpful staff.

The institute course structure and facilities they provide us is very great but since it is a training institute, we don't get the full freedom of the normal University, there are CISF (Centralised industrial security force) guarding the institute 24*7. So we have to follow proper instructions given by them.

Entrance Examination - GATE 2014, score 814/1000, AIR 362, one of the top IIT in India with good opportunities to learn.
