Remarks

I chose this college because I was getting this as the best college based on my rank. The branch which I get here is civil engineering. I like the green campus and placement record of the college very much.

Course Curriculum Overview

Civil Engineering in NIT Kurukshetra is well organised course and its curriculum is updated. The entire course is divided into eight semesters and there is three examination in each semester. There is not much internship in civil engineering here. My favourite professor is Neeraj Mehla sir.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 62500 per year

Placement Experience

Companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung Swiggy, Hero et cetra visit the campus for recruitment. The placement of each branch in NIT is good with the highest percentage being of CSE and IT. The highest package offered so far has been 40 lakh per annum last year. The T&P cell is held responsible for all placement activities. I don't know much about alumni association.

College Events

There are a number of programs and events celebrated in the campus premises. Techspardha and Confluence are the biggest fest. In addition to these we celebrate Independence day, Gandhi Jayanti, Fresher party, Republic day et cetra. In college fest there is huge crowd of participants.

Average college with low placement

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placement in their final year. The companies which visited are spektra system, tcs, subrol ,rise zonic the average package is around 4LPA and the highest package is around 8LPA .the percentage of students getting placement is low as most of the students could not pass test. My plans after getting BCA degree is to pursue MCA in a better college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university has both course of anaesthesia and operation theatre together and benefit is the attached hospital to the college for the clinical posting and wide exposure to the medical field in ICU and NICU postings with the professional doctor and nurses and have well qualified assistant professor. Exams are not difficult but had a moderate level and the timing is 3 hours for the exam both practical and theoretical

A walk through Nit kurukshetra

I choose this college cause, I am interested in this branch and I don't have any prior interest in any particular colleges, in this college I am getting the particular branch I am interested in,while there are few colleges which are providing me same branch but they have some limitations like there infrastructure is bad or crowd is not that wonderful like here people are generous and motivated you can't find the same everywhere. Good college for electrical

The admission is only based on JEE Mains Rank. This is a decent college and thus requires decent ranks for good courses. JEE is conducted nationwide by the NTA every year. The process was smooth. You have to first select colleges. You get an allotment and then you verify the docs....Read More
