Remarks

Not many places to hangout which doesnt matter as people in this college rarely go out. Nearest place to hangout is at the station.Geeks may like this college as their lookout is not enjoyment. However, being engineers we can survive anything, isn't it?

Entrance Preview

JEE- 63SSC board PCM - 71%Composite score - 75. I was always interested in computers from childhood so I took up Computer Engineering. I got admission through institute level seats. So the admission process was bit complicated for me and the staff was also not keen on providing the information of Offline admission prices. but in the end the admission process went hasslefree.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course structure is not the good. The higher classes professors are also not that much interested in teaching. The faculty at Terna Engineering college is relatively less experienced and therefore not competent. One faculty appears to be a 15 year old (though, according to students, he teaches satisfactorily). The telecom department has a decent faculty.

Internships Opportunities

Yes the college provide internship but only for the cream crowd i.e. the nerds and toppers of the classes mainly get internship opportunities. Major company is TCS and Patni

Package is Rs. 3 lac p.a.The major companies are Infosys and Patni.Year 2008-09 2007-08 2006-07Maximum Salary: Rs. 3.3 lac p.a. Rs. 3.2 lac p.a. Rs. 5 lac p.a.Minimum Salary: Rs. 2.2 lac p.a. Rs. 1.44 lac p.a. Rs. 1.5 lac p.a.

College Events

3.5

There is a technical fest called AVALON which usually takes place at September. The cultural fe Resonance takes place in March. The events are quite student centred. Many technology geeks love the tech fest as it has many events like robotics workshop and powerbank workshops virtual reality workshops. There is counter strike LAN competition also held which gamers love the most. Game like DOTA are also played. Cultural fest is also very good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

BTech Fee: Rs. 91, 000/yearMTech Fee: Rs. 1, 05, 000/year. The fees are same as any middle grade college in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai region. The fees are worth it as the facilities provided by the college are very good. The laboratories are well maintained and same is the case with the classrooms. The Canteen isn't that well maintained. The fees cover all expenses.

Fees and Financial Aid

No idea about scholarship as I am Open Category student. there are scholarships for reserved and Economically backward students

Campus Life

3.5

College is huge but not as good as other colleges. There is a big enough central ground. Many equipments in the lab are faulty. Although the computer labs are well equipped with good computers and the necessary peripherals. The library is decent enough. And there is a nice little pond where you can see a wide variety of sweet water fishes.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel is quite bad and mess is also bed. My suggestion is to stay somewhere as paying guest and find somewhere decent place for food. You just simply can't eat the food at mess. The canteen at Terna Engineering college is very spacious with unhygienic ye

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are bit rude as they don't help freshers. The good part is there's no ragging. The seniors are just busy enjoying their life an they don't care even if freshers exists or not.

Exam Structure

The exams schedule is pre planned and the teachers frequently take test whose average is taken into account at the Term work marks. The unit are quite simple if u study fine and get to know basics. UT are just taken to pass the students. The freshers don'

Some or the good faculty have retired from the college. The new ones are not that par but bit more friendly. Teachers know what they are teaching buy them are also some teachers who don't know anything about the subject and are just university passouts.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2022)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
