The college is more concerned about girls as it is the College of SNDT Women's university. Also the reviews on various websites were good enough for taking admission. Also the main reason is that girls are getting better opportunities for their career. Due to some of these reason I decided to take admission here

Faculties in our college are more concerned about our syllabus. However it is changing from last year we are facing little problem in our studies. But our faculties are very supportive so that it becomes easy for us to study. Industrial Visits are arranged for the industrial exposure every year.

The average placement rate of USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is about 73%. Because this is the girls college, all the opportunities are for girls. Most of the students get placed in Companies like Barclay's, Infosys and many more. In the Placement section, our college is better.

Campus life is depends on how we are engaged with the curricular activities in the college. Still we enjoy a lot. Much more fests are celebrated like Xuberance from sports council. Also the ACM council conducts Techical fest and IEEE council conducts a cultural fest.Certificates are giben to the winners of various tasks and also the participants.

Various scholarships like Post matric scolarships are available for students. As I was applicable for post matric scolarship for OBC category, I availed that and now I have to pay half of the fees. And the Education loan facility is also available which can be availed by anyone of us.

Usha Mittal Institute of technology ranks average in infrastructural development. However more than 3 playgrounds are provided for us also the huge library with varieties of books and comfortable spacious classrooms are provided. Laboratories are well equipped so that we can perform practicals easily.

No. I tried for the hostel but I was not applicable for it due to less score. Hostel facilities are based on merit rank. According to my information, hostel rooms are good with 2 or 3 occupancy and attached washrooms. Hostel seats are not more in number so most of us live in PGs or another hostels which are at less distance from the college.
