Remarks

Factor that it is only girls college so there might be good scope to push up women in the field of engineering. Heard alot about it the college having good scope for girls including the teaching and extra curricular activities

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything was kinda good experiencem the new syllabus seems pretty less loaded than the previous one. Faculties were very helpful and understanding. And we were even provided amazing industrial visits

Being in a engineering college there are many technical companies visiting our college. They are all well known companies. The alumina working with with the batches are also very much helpful

College Events

It's was really fun to be around a huge campus. Many events festivals held by college on the campus was successful cause there is alot of space to held such events. On an intracollegiate level it is satisfied.

Campus Life

Our college has a huge campus though. Got many grounds and all. Our college it a pretty old building. It is not that renovated I'm recent times but it's pretty good. It's it well maintained. Including the libraries that is good too.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
