Remarks

Placement opportunities was one of the factors that drove me to take admission here. I used to find it difficult to converse with boys so being a women's university I felt that I would be able to explore more sides of me without hesitation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties were quite experienced and would tell us what all is necessary for us to know rather than giving us limited knowledge. I felt that I have gained much more knowledge about the outer world through the events and workshops that would take place in our college and everything was quite interesting. There was an urge that I should try these things.

Placement Experience

There were many companies that would visit our college like Barclays, cap gemini, tata motors and more. The placement department in our college keeps data of packages offered by various companies and what percentage of students clear a particular interview. Everything is up to date and students are well informed from time to time.

College Events

Overall I really enjoyed my campus life, there were ups and downs which made me even stronger, I really enjoyed all the fests that would take place in our college and the best part was the sports event. The extracurricular activities would light up the days when we wanted to relax from our studies

Campus Life

Lab equipments were less in quantity but sports facilities were at par. Library is about the size of 3 rooms on a single floor and contained books of latest editions. Wifi was provided when we used to have workshops so that everything goes on smoothly.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

A real look inside my college life experience

Placement Experience:

For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Placement Experience:

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
