Remarks

I came to know about this college through a cousine of mine. She did her college from here aswell and told me about the college. Plus I have heard about this college aswell being an all girl's college has never affected the students a bit, they've been provided with all facilities including academically or for extra curricular purpose.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is according to the latest course provided by AICTE and it's always updated.Academics are great here, we've given enough time to go through our academics plus do any other thing if we want to mean to say that you are not burdened by the syllabus. Faculties are great and supportive always ready to help both academically or if students need any guidance they're always ready to help.Co- curricular activities are always supported and students are free to do.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 10675 per year

Placement Experience

Since I'm a fresher I don't have much idea about the placements in detail but I've heard about it through seniors and heard good about placements like mqny companies visit for placements out of which major recruiters are Accenture and colgate IT. Also barclays, Infosys many such companies visit here.There is a particular placement cell for the purpose and students are always guided for the placements. Job opportunities are there but you have to do your own work aswell in order to get recruited.

Campus life is great, compared to other colleges in mumbai we've a comparatively large campus with whole green surrounding facilitated with inbuilt stationary, 2 canteens, photocopy shop etc.Different extracurricular activities are supported. There are many councils for the student to know about their interests and grow their knowledge. Students are allowed to participate in the fests arranged by such councils freely.All in all a great experience.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Placement Experience:

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
