Remarks

I was looking for an inexpensive college, and this college had very less fees. More over they showed us the placement awards which the college won. This attracted us a bit and they have an incampus hostel which was very convenient.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was very much updated but we got very less industrial exposures in it. Very less practical works. The faculties were very good and they were really cooperative. The best faculty which I had now is not in that college.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement opportunity is fine not that good. But yes few companies from gurugram and noida do visit. And oustide campus placement is also done. Alumini gives good referrals and few are at good places as well. One of them started an NGO organisation named Vrikshit foundation.

College Events

4

campus life was fine, they organise good sports event but less college festivals. And the college festival in 2018 was satisfactory and had good number of participants. At the end they do prize distribution as well.

Campus Life

Campus Infrastructure is good, sports facilities are really good. The entire campus have wifi facility, library is quite spacious and the labs do have good equipments which can help you out with all that u want to do. They have 3-4 computer labs, communication labs. And now the college provide only b.tech courses.

Hostel Facilities

My hostel life was great, the only problem was a bit of there rules but that also were fine according to their locality. Food was satisfactory and the hostel had play area, common room having telivision, ground with greenery around. Wardens were cooperative and helps you out evenat midnight.

GLIM Placements start from the beginning of 2nd year as till then we are also done with our intenrships. Also, placements here are lesser than that of Chennai but still median of GLIM is around 15 lakhs which is much better than other B-Schools of NCR.

The placement is not that much good but decent like the college claims the average package of 6 lakh but the actual package is about 3-4 lakh and the companies are more about the management courses and not that much for the technical.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific Aspects That Influenced the Decision For students choosing a professional or certificate course, the curriculum usually becomes the deciding factor based on three key pillars: Job-Oriented Specific Skills: The primary influence is the curriculum's direct focus on market-based, job-ready skills (e.g., Python, Data Science, Digital Marketing tools). Unlike a traditional degree, the appeal is that every module must be immediately applicable to a job. Portfolio Development: Students are heavily influenced by modules that are project-based or require them to build a portfolio (like a website, a code repository, or a marketing plan). The curriculum must be designed to result in tangible work that can be shown to employers. Industry Certification Alignment: If the course prepares students for an external, recognized industry certificate (like CCNA, MCP, or Google/Meta certificates), the curriculum's strict adherence to that certification standard is a major influence. 2. Preparation for Real-World Applications The curriculum of a successful short-term course is designed to excel specifically in preparing students for real-world applications. Curriculum Improvements Mandatory Soft Skills Integration: While technical skills are a focus, the curriculum should mandate dedicated modules on non-technical, yet critical, job skills like: Professional Communication and Email Etiquette Team Collaboration and Project Management (Agile/Scrum basics) Interview Preparation and Mock Interviews Industry Feedback Loop: Establish a more frequent and formal system to update the curriculum based on current industry demands, possibly involving an advisory board of employers or recent alumni.
