Remarks

The pedagogy of teaching at the institute, faculties and the affordable fees structure. The specializations offered at GLS JP Shah, are not offered in any colleges of Gujarat. The workshops conducted by the college are very insightful.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very interesting and well designed. It's a combination of theoretical and practical learning, which I believe is very much necessary. Academics wise also the college is very recommended. Faculties are very well experienced and knowledgeable.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

Companies like Tata, Godrej, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, Byju's, Kotak, Airtel, Asian Paints, Angel Broking, Arvind Infrastructure Limited, Alembic Pharma visit our campus for placements. One of the students from my senior batch, got placed in Byju's with a package of 6 lakh rupees.

College Events

The fests held by the college was absolutely worth to be a part of. The college organizes both cultural and management fests on National level, with more than 500+ participants from all over the nation. The organization and management during these fests of the college is very much commendable.

Campus Life

Infrastructure wise GLS lacks facilities. For example, there's a common sports ground for students of all the department. We had a mini library, equipments in the computer lab was upto the mark. The classrooms are fully air conditioned. There's no elevator in the college.

Life at LDCE: A Student's Perspective

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

balanced with learning and challenges

Placement Experience:

the placement at vgec at decent, especially considering it is a government college with very low fees. student become eligible for campus placement from the 6 th and the main placement drives begin in the 7 th and 8 th semesters. many well known compnies visit the camppus every tear for software , core engineering and management roles. compnies like TCS, infosys, wipro , taat consultancy, adani, gsfc,and a few stertup hire students from different branches. the number of offers varies every year , but the overall trend is improving . some companies offer multiple job roles such as software engineer , QA engineering , embendede engineering , trainee engineering and analyst position . higher pacage is 5 lacks. after completing my degree , i plan to focus on improving my technical skills .

Decent college with room to grow

Placement Experience:

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester.The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree,wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also,beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects,they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.

I applied to other 2 colleges which are Somlalit & hl but didn't get admission due to percentage requirements. And I choose gls as it was there is my preference from earlier and I won't regret my decision. I didn't get rejection but only thing went wrong was I required little more percentage for admission. Admission process is very simple & eligibility is you should have more than 65% in 12th commerce anyway 65% is the cutoff. Overall admission experience was good enough and satisfactory ....Read More
