My honest review for GLS University

The curicullum includes options for research projects which enhance critical thinking and analytical thinking. The availability of elective subjects allows for tailored learning which helps in specific career paths and further studies such as an MBA. The curriculum prepares us for real-world applications through practical projects and exposure to industry professionals through workshops and internships. The exam timing is 2 hours, conducted every semester and the papers are moderately hard.

The roles offered in internships are junior assistants, with an average stipend of 12 thousand, and companies like Amul, Nirma, and IMS. Projects are for the month like the marketing campaign and how it should be done in the real world.

From semester 3 students got internships and in the last semester students became eligible for campus placements with companies like HDFC, and Asian Paints visited and offered the average package of 3.5lpa

In our college fees paid to be per semester. My course BBA(marketing) fees were 25000 and 1000 exam fees every sem and in semester 6 which is last semester there was an additional amount of 1000 Alumni fees and 1000 convocation fees have to be paid. So till the 5th semester, the total fees were 25000, and in the last semester, it was 28000 in total. May now the fees have been increased by around 2000 as I am a passed out student so don't say the exact current fees.

We have different clubs for acting, dancing, singing musicals, sports, and social activities which are run by students. Faculty encourages us to take part in other college activities also and we have festivals like IMAGE, a concert at the end of the year.

I applied to other colleges such as Indus and Ahmedabad University but I chose GLS over them because of the fees and the location it's easy to travel to college at GLS as it is in the center of the city. For admission, there is a particular minimum percentage criteria and one has to fill the admission form online

The relationship between faculty and students was great as they were easy to approach like friends they helped us out with projects and assignments. The best teachers for me were Pinal ma'am, Sonal ma'am, Yukti ma'am as they were like a friends which helps related to study and career and also encourages you. Our dean Dr. Shefali Dani is also very helpful and motivates us to take part in extracurricular activities.
