Remarks

I had heard good reviews about this college. I had got selected in Dehradun campus, though I got myself shifted to Pune campus, reason being reviews I had heard of Pune campus from my friends already enrolled in other campuses.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like the overall course curriculum of IBS, the clubs in college are also quite nice and engages students to take part in the activities and enhance/ show one's skills. The faculties are highly qualified, major number of faculties are IIM passouts.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 801000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it is compulsory for every student to complete an internship. For the same, in the middle of 2nd semester, various companies come for providing internship. The company that I had completed internship was Rubicon Skill Development, and my domain was HR. The stipend I received from Rubicon was Rs.3000 pm

Placement Experience

Talking about IBS Pune, the college is good in Marketing and Finance domain more. So various good companies, mostly banks come for placements. Amazon has been coming for placements for past few years and last year, it had offered salary of 16 lpa and had recruited 1 student.

College Events

The campus life is great at IBS, every class has break of 15 minutes between 2 classes, the canteen is also quite okay with reasonable price of meals provided by the same. Also the canteen has variety of food options, north-Indian, south-Indian, Maharashtrian, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a bridge loan facility in college, which means that any student who is unable to submit any installment of fee will be able to pay the same in parts with the help of bridge loan facility of college

Campus Life

The infrastructure is quite small due to which the sports gets difficult to play in college, has basketball half court and table-tennis though. Also has gym facility. The WiFi of the college is also good, and has good bandwidth. The library of IBS is very very vast with different and many books of same author. Also has computer lab facilty.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel facility in IBS Pune, though Hyderabad, Dehradun, i.e. MBA campuses of ICFAI have campus facility. The Hyderabad has amazing infrastructure with various facilities in hostel, right from games to all extracurricular activities.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Less fees good Roi.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is decent good because as per the fees it will gives us 6lpa as a average package it is good Roi as per my opinion. There are maximum company related to banks and startups and mainly for Marketing roles. My plans for after degree to get placed with good package.

In semester 4 students are eligible for placements. Many companies like ICICI BANK, AXIS BANK and many compnay visited this for placement. Percentage of student getting placed is 80%. My plan is to get placed in college.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after completing 2nd semester and entering in 3rd semester. Attendance is compulsory for getting the opportunity for placements. The companies like IDBI Bank, HDFC Bank, Property pistol, Godrej Capital are available for placements. The highest paid package is 9.75 for sales and marketing. Till now( 3rd semester) 60% to 70% students are placed. There are more opportunities for sales and marketing as compared to other fields.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate 6 out of 10 because the syllabus it has old information. The special aspect of the curriculum is about branding, strategy use to make strong brand in the market. The area for improvement in these curriculum is to provide student the proper software for technical or practical subjects. (like photoshop, indesign, etc.)

Placement Experience:

Form the first semester itself students will be starting to get the internship opportunities as we have to complete 2 months of internship after first year. The third semester students, who come to campus after internship are all eligible for placements. JPMC, CRISIL, BNY, Federal Bank, KPMG, Tresvista, NUVAMA are a few of the companies visiting college. The highest CTC offered was INR 21.42LPA and the average CTC is INR 11 LPA.

Good post graduate program with strong cirriculum

Remarks:

Overall, I would say that I think this is a very unique course being offered by SP Jain and they are very strict with the submission timelines and quality of work. This is definitely is not a run off the mill part time MBA. The institute makes sure you sweat to earn your degree, respectfully!
