Remarks

Delhi university being a brand name itself was my first preference because of the surity that I had about my score in boards. I was always interested in mathematics and maths hons was being offered there hence, du. Venky is amongst the top 10 college in delhi university and I was offered maths there.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is pure mathematics, if someone wants to go for teaching and is interested in research then it is a good course but if you want to go into corporate, it might be better to opt for statistics. The curriculum in delhi university is more of theoretical in maths rather practicalFaculty is very good.

The placement cell of the college was very good, companies from different sectors comes into the college to hire people. Big 4 companies, Consultancy firms like Mc Kinsey, BCG, Z's associates come to hire.

College Events

The annual fest of the college is amongst the best in delhi university and getting into the organizing commitee of the fest, NEXUS, is also not easy. Last year, Ankit Tiwari came into the college to perform and it was magical.

Campus Life

Infrastructure was good. College had wifi, library is two floored and labs were fully equipped. But the college was not fully ac and the building looks very old but it is a green campus and opposite satyaniktean

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . The best college one can find.

The first requirement for the admission is that the candidate has to pas 10+2 examination in their respective board. I scored good grades in my 10+2. Then I also appeared for JEE mains and UPSEE. My UPSEE score was really good and hence upon counselling i got selected in the college for admission. There is also SVU Common Entrance Test (SVUCET).
