Remarks

First of all, visakhapatnam is my hometown so i thought its gonna be great if i study in the city which is my roots and also that i will be close to my aging grandparents.gitam was never my 1st choice,i wanted to get into Christ/symbiosis but was unable to in the interview round. Then my family suggested of gitam.I wasn't even aware of this College.Eventually i wrote the online test and got through.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took BBA in management accounting since it is a specialized course along with CIMA.The course syllabus is well established with the outside commercial marketplace.I would say the management should hire a Cima professional who is specialised in teaching about the subject.why? Because most of the students still dont know what cima is in our final year and lots of them dropped from clearing cima. Many didn't even attempt the exam for which their parents paid high fee.So the college should hire someone who can motivate and give insights about cima to the students from 1st year itself.I dont think the college provided enough industrial exposure. There were only 2-3 times that we went to some industry or a factory. They should focus on co curriculum as well. The faculty are really great espicialy the female teacher. They are so professional in their work.It was an honor that i was able to learn from them.lallitha maam, pratima maam, sudha maam are some of the gems of our management.

Placement Experience

3

Alright so being a management ug grad.I would say the placement weren't that great. You got many companies like byjus, calvin klien and some 3rd rated omes who only offered sales role and gave some 20k/month.The mba grads used to get good placement way better than us.i think out of whole ug batch of our year, some 5 people would have been recruited thats it.alright so after passing out,we joined the gitam alum group which notified us of any job openings.I would say its satisfactory.

College Events

3.5

Alright this is the best question.I am proud to say that i am a management student because we have conducted so many big fests of GITAM such as GEM,Enactus, tacko.I was a part of the HR department for 2 years and we conducted the fest for the masses who came from various colleges/schools across vizag. The gem is the biggest fest that we conduct.Celebs like akhil, sandeep reddy vanga and many more have graced our fest with their around 30-40 stalls of various famous restaurant/streed foods come and set up stalls for 2days and its a party vibe for straight 48 hours. The fests were one of the best memory of college life.

Campus Life

The campus is beautiful.I studied for 3 years in Visakhapatnam campus. Its the prime campus amongst the 3 campuses in India.our campus also happened to have the one of the biggest library in any institute in India. Its massive.its known as KRC.It also had an underground conference hall. There is a massive cricket stadium in our campus. Its beautiful and well maintained.students can play cricket jog, playe badminton. Our campus also happen to have a gigantic ground where you have basketball courts, volleyball court, football ground, track fields. Our campus also has an indoor stadium which is one of the prominent feature of our college. It has a Gym (male and female),Table tennis court, chess table, and a massive indoor basketball cum badminton Stadium.since i am a management student,i am not familiar with the equipment in labs but i suppose that they are modern.I lived in hostel for 3 years and the facilities were well enough to live.Although the hostel food is a mess according to me.Wifi was 24*7 enabled and is satisfactorily fast.

Hostel Facilities

Alright so in 3 years I changed from 3 major boys hostels.DDS,RS,VS.We were in dds for 1st year. This hostel is a special one. This is where it all begin. We had a big room to accomodate 3 people.a common bathroom which was massive. The hostel bill used to be around 10k i think along with the mess bill which was around 3-4k,pretty high rates.2nd year,we shifted to RS,its a 12 storied massive building, per room 3 people.same common bathroom but very small and was not maintained at all.It used to be smelly and unhygienic. The 3yr was in VS.The best hostel ever. It has suites which has 4 rooms and in each room 2 people can live. You have 2 bathroom (common)a kitchen,a frig(the best part) and a big living hall.3rd year was the best since we could cook anytime we wanted unlike the restriction of cooking in 1st amd 2nd year. Many of my friends shifted to outside PG nearby, they rented a flat in which 10 ppl lived and paid a total rent of 16k.

The thing that all hotel management students strive for, is not work in the field in india but to go to a different country. Early on, in their career, to earn some money so that they could , open their own restaurants and establishments. So, there are two options first is to go for an indian best company which they have a lot of there are campus drive that they provide you platforms for you to apply to them and earn very little money. Second list to they would provide accredited agencies in which you have to pay them in advance. To get the opportunity of going to abroad

1. First of all the joy to treat and cure a patient is irreplacable with any other branch. 2. You get to see real time patients all the way since 2nd year itself and understand how everything works in real time. 3.The exams have a gap of around 3 months and are moderate to difficult. 4. A more integrative teaching is needed.
