Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

As it is now a university, it has its own curriculum. Curriculum is not that interesting but relevant to all other universities. One liking the curriculum is pretty much subjective and it's been the same since decades, infact slightly deteriorated in the past few years. If you fortunate enough to get the old faculty of the college, you are good. The new faculty and the temporary staff is mehh. Frequency of the exams is the same as other colleges 2 CIAT's and and final semester examination. Difficulty level of the examination is ok ok.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

You will be added in to some WhatsApp groups in the name of internship more like for the sake of internships. You have to pay around three thousand for joining in the internship and there is no stipend only things you gonna get is a certificate and hopefully some experience.

Placement Experience

3

Campus placements are provided from college. Highest they show was 60Lpa obviously off campus and was in the year 2022 but there were quite good ones from AWS 32 lpa, yugabyte 44lpa, Morgan Stanley 29lpa. Average package is 5.9lpa. Percentage of students getting placed is dropped slightly because of the increase in studemt intake

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is fixed by the state government so no worries about fee hikes, But management screws you to pay extra fees in the name of career guidance and career development ???? which I did not find in my first year of college. If you are from the convenor quota you have to pay around 1 lakh an year. If you are eligible you can get fee reimbursement for the state government.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus Life is quite fun if one wants to make it fun. Library is pretty good, there are many clubs if anyone's interested and opportunities for sports but the ground is pretty far from the college. The location and the atmosphere of campus is chill through out the year, but you will get cooked im the summer.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Well the main hostel of the college called V hostel. If we talk about the good bad and ugly of the hostel. Good- Cleanliness, safety and security. Bad- fee difference between v hostel and other hostel(it is somewhat value for money if you compare the rooms and other amenities)and food sometimes Ugly- When you want leave the hostel to go out you will treated as school kid and will be asked to bring a letter and apply for leave in an app and will be asked to call your parents for permission. Also, There are many affordable options outside the college premises, the above v hostel is in the campus premises.

Admission

Admission was through EAPCET an entrance test for colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. If you are from general category you can get a seat in computer science at a rank below 24000, if are from any reserved category cutoff goes further and have ews certificate you could get fee reimbursement under JVD. Entrance exam isn't that hard compared to comedk and other exams, One thing that need to be improved about the exam is the delay during the counseling process.
