My Journey with CIMAP

This doctorate course aims in developing new varieties and traits include genetics and genomics, marker-assisted selection (MAS), and transgenic crops. It also explains Genetic structures and mechanisms , genetic resources and breeding, and transfer genes for specific traits into plants where they are needed. The course requires completion and submission of thesis.

The students from our department find jobs in private as well as public sectors. Some of them are working as entrepreneurs, some in Drug Manufacturing Companies, Industrial Laboratories,Educational Institutes, Environmental Pollution Control, Agriculture and fisheries, Hospitals,Cosmetic Industries, etc . They have been placed as Biomedical scientist, Healthcare scientist, Clinical biotechnologist, Clinical research associate, Research scientist (Life sciences), Scientific laboratory technician etc.

The low fee structure of our college enables students to complete their education. It helps the candidates to complete their passion for education and students can pay more attention to their subjects.
