Course Curriculum Overview

Our institution provides a 3- year full time course in hotel management, catering and nutrition. Our course curriculum is well updated as per the latest trends. It is carefully chosen and thoughtfully organized in order to give us an in depth knowledge about the subject.

Placement Experience

IHM Meerut is known for its amazing placement facilities. Almost 70-80% of the students get placed in reputed hotels, airlines or big companies. Their average salary package is INR 4.2 lakhs. Some of the top recruiting companies are - ITC, IRCTC, Taj, Oberois, Marriott, Hyatt etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a private institution, the fees charged by our college is a petty amount when compared with the other parallel colleges in India. I pay a sum of INR 30,000 every year, which sums up to INR 90,000 in a course of 3 years.

Campus Life

Our college takes an active participation in all co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. We organize different departmental events every year. In addition, we also have Sports Meet, convocation and Alumni Meet etc. We celebrate cultural programs and also organize different workshops and seminars.

Hostel Facilities

Our college provides hostel accommodation at a very nominal rate. It is availed by the outstation candidates. The hostel environment is quite good and highly secured. There are separate hostel buildings for boys and girls. It has good infrastructural facilities and the hygienic standards are well maintained.

Admission

There are separate admission procedures for separate courses in IHM. However, all the aspirants must first register themselves through an application form issued by the college in order to be considered for admission. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for diploma course is to secure passing marks in the 10+2 exam with English as one of the major subjects. They must also sit for the JEE CUP exam and based on the performance in this exam, the candidates are selected.

the course is good, but i feel there are multiple coding languages being taught, instead they should stick to one lang(give students diff courses for diff languages that they can choose from,rather than making all students study one same language that is c , which is also outdated) , also i feel since its the profs choice when to keep mid sems, full month mid sems go on, so exams are too frequent. difficulty level is moderate i would say

Best College at low fees

Placement Experience:

the placement rate is was very good until 2000 2023 as it was 80,00,000 LPA was the highest package show in the campus but from 2024 and 2025 no placement data has been recorded and wasn't uploaded till now from the official site of the Kamla Nehru Institute of technology technology I don't know what the placement cell is doing on the behalf of the placement but it's on college it doesn't matter it depends on the strength of the student how well and how skill C has developed create his own carrier

A review of my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of course is very comprehensive and relevant and follows all the guidelines that are given by university. My reason for choosing this was how it delves and prepares us for the management world which is one thing that I'm passionate about and want to take on in future. The curriculum is so apt because it isn't just theoretical, it prepares you equally on how to take on the real world problems after graduation. The curriculum includes subjects as English proficiency and personality development where a special attention is given on your soft skills and to make you confident enough in communication. There are classes for computers to teach to necessary tools like excel etc . The teachers use myriad ways to teach like group discussion, ppt , lectures , board etc. I feel i don't thing that there's any need of improvement as such of now in the curriculum. The exams are held 3 times in a semester which is of 4 to 5 months. One is the internak exam which is of 25 marks. The second is the pre university exam which happens before the semester exam which is of 75 marks. The last and the main exam is the semester exam which is of 75 marks. The 25 marks are on the basis of internal and put exam and hwi the student has performed in them . The exams are easy to take if the course is completed and the student has studied well and is through the syllabus nicely. The paper is overall easy to medium however there are one or two questions to test the aptitude overall

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is good but i belive there should be more flexibility and more diverse topics should be taught as i mentioned earlier there should be something related to drama and skit and acting as it enriches the creative side of the students and also it is very necessary for a management student to have a creative skills too.

Placement Experience:

There are total 6 semester in my course. The students become eligible for the course from the 4th semester onwards. The placements are not good in the college. It's very average. The highest package of the college is 4 lakh per annum. The average package of the college is nearly about 2.5 Lakh per annum. The lowest package of the college is 1.8 lakh per annnum. Nearly about 50% of the students got placement from the college. After getting the degree, my plan is to pursue the higher studies and do government exams preparation.
