Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was designed keeping in mind the requirements of the field. The topics were not only important for an in-depth study of law, but also were challenging in a way that pushed us to do well. Examinations were held regularly, and activities like mock trial help develop our skills. The elective subjects were interesting as well.
Placement Experience
Summer and winter internships were provided to us by the Training and Placement Cell. Firms such as BOSCO, Bhumi, Dream a Dream, Trilegal, Astrea Legal, Dua Associates, The Hindu, Titan and Bajaj Alliance Insurance co. took interns from the Institute. Some students even got international internships in firms like Takaful Emarat and Schneider Electric. The placement scenario is also very good, with firms such as Novojuris, Tatva Legal, Bizrights, Legitquest and QUislex took students in Trainee and Associate posts. The Cell also helps in preparation, through mock interviews, workshops and personality development.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The cost is very high, of course. the academic fees per annum is 1.5 lakh rupees. The hostel and mess fees as well as administrative costs add almost as much to it, such that the total yearly cost is almost 2.9 lakh rupees. It is expensive
Campus Life
There are a number of different activities to participate in. There's a cultural troupe, along with dance, drama, music and movie clubs. There's also a Literary and debate society, moot court association and a sports cell.
Admission
The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) must be taken for getting into the college. The SLAT requires a 1750 rupees registration fee. After the results of the test, the application process to SLS must be done, which requires an application fee of 1000 rupees.
Faculty
The faculty members were important presences in our college life as they helped us do well in the course. They shared their experiences with us, and were stern when required. The pushed us to give our best.
