Course Curriculum Overview
I must say, the syllabus is very long and quite tough. Almost I spend 16-18 hours in the curriculum to complete the whole syllabus for once. The syllabus for MBBS first and the second year was theoretical while after that the research part came where we visited the hospital. Also, we have one internal and one final exam every year and journal submission for the labs we attended.
Placement Experience
Along with the curriculum at the time of admission only, it was fixed to do a one-year internship at the hospital for practical development. Also, we have to do a year mandatory internship where the students got a decent stipend. After that, there were several private and government firms providing decent jobs with high salary package.
College Events
We had ceremonies based on the curriculum-related events and also had awareness programs and book launch events. About festivals, there were few celebrated at the campus while there were village visits and also the blood donation and free health check-up camps at the institute campus.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The government fees were 60,000 who got admission from that particular round while the students averagely paid 14 lakhs which was quite expensive. However, students generally took loans due to expensive fees and the NRI fees were also high.
Campus Life
The activities we have were based on the syllabus itself as we had inter-college quiz competitions, awareness camps, and lab activities. We had much less time to play sports as we have to visit the hospital regularly after the lectures got over.
Hostel Facilities
In concern to hostel facilities, students generally preferred the hostel services which were at the campus so that the access to lectures, labs, and the library is easy. The fees were appropriate compared to the facilities they gave in return as spacious and clean rooms, WiFi facility, considerable food at the mess, water, and electricity supply.
Admission
For admission in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, my profile got evaluated by the marks I got in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and also in NEET exam. The pathway to send the student's profile and admission was online so I followed the same.
Faculty
They were very knowledgeable and also had years of experience in doing the practical operations and providing treatment in worst-case scenarios. They shared their sole experience and through that, they imparted us with great knowledge and skills in the lectures as well as lab sessions.
