Course Curriculum Overview

Examination schedule for undergraduate courses is that first internal exam is taken in January which is followed by 2nd internal exam in December. This is for honours as well as general UG courses. In my course, the syllabus was based in core subjects of English Literature.

Placement Experience

Placement cell in the college helps a lot in preparing us for placements. Also, different career oriented programmes are held in the college. In honours courses, chances of placements are higher than in any general course.

College Events

There are many events and activities taking place regularly like seminars, workshops, conferences etc. Different camps are held along with celebration of festivals and days like world youth day, world no tobacco day etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure for all the honours courses at my time was ?3,240 per year. Which makes total fees for 3 years ?9,720 which is completely feasible and affordable. Fee may vary with the course you are opting i.e honours or general.

Campus Life

In my opinion, Infrastructure of the college is amazing. It has two separate library facilities, one Central and other departmental. Medical help, playground, canteen, auditorium etc are also available. For sports, they have annual sports every year and also NCC and NSS are a part of the college.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, hostel facility is available for students. I didn't need a hostel but some of my friends did. The infrastructure is pretty good and food services are also delightful there. The rooms are clean and fees is also feasible.

Admission

Admission is strictly based on merit of class 12th examination. We have to fill the application form given online and the merit list will be published after some time. Eligibility for admission is that you must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board and secured minimum 45%.

There are total 9 members in the faculty of English department. The professors are qualified and extremely supportive. They are experienced in their field and have a whole lot of knowledge of their subject.

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

They provide you with various oppertunities like exposure visits, seminar , worshops, etc.

Dislikes

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

Study pressure is not that much it will be sufficient to stu61 months before final exam
No strict college there is not compulsory to wear college uniform
Faculty are good they are supportive helpful

College campus is small infrastructure is not good
Placement and internship opportunities is very less

Likes

Faculty is really good and helping they do help !
Labs are taken on time and is made clear to us very well
Teacher are very good and friendly for us

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Nothing as much , some little stuffs that are everywhere nowadays in college

Exams are generally spaced well throughout the smemstwr allowing adequate time for preperation , how ever the frequenxy can sometimes be overwhelming particulary during peak study periods , but the diffulty level isnt that concerning and they are easy

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Placement Experience:

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.

"One of the best colleges of my life"

The college is very good in its extracurricular activities. They have various sports activities like football, basketball etc. They also organize cultural functions like fest and fates in which many students take part. They have well maintained library. In order to get admission in this college, you must be 10+2 qualified and a valid degree for the same. But the students are also eligible through merit-based admissions that is from the scores obtained from their 10+2marks. Your application is based solemnly on your merit of 10+2 so if you have a good pecrentage, you can get through the application process very easily. The exam is based on the two different way, first one is internal exam that's has been taken in to the in our college and secondly external exam that's has been taken out of the college e.g - another college.
