Entrance Preview

With centralized process for Admission of Engineering, I opted for this college. This college was having "B" rating for Computer Engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college was following Semester pattern and the syllabus / curriculum was pre-defined by the Pune university.The course was included with all the relevant subjects, for the desired engineering dept.

Internships Opportunities

Wipro - BPO had came to our college for freshers recruitment. There was no as such stipend procedure, as the joining would be after passing the college final exams .

Placement Experience

0.5

At the time of recruitment from Wipro - BPO, only 3 to 4 students were selected. The only company was : WIPRO - BPOThe selection procedure was based on checking communication skills and then aptitude and next HR interview.

Fees and Financial Aid

We used to get scholarships, as per the Government rules and regulations, as the college is Govt. recognised.

Exam Structure

As I have mentioned above, the college was following the Pune university curriculum.The exams schedule and structure was per the Pune university.

The faculty staff was quite good.Many times, the earlier passed out students used to join as a lecturers.The lecturers were very co-operative and knowledge-wise good in their subjects.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

Placement Experience:

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
