Course Curriculum Overview
The course majorly focuses on making you have a strong command over English language. We started the semester with American fiction, Literature, non fiction, grammar and punctuation. There is no entrance exam for this course.
Placement Experience
Getting an internship through the college was very tough, I graduated in 2017 and most of the companies visited the college just for placements, however, I applied for a content writing internship (Off-campus) and worked with them for 2 months. The job placement is okayish, the companies come for creative writers and assistant/junior editors.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college is very feasible as compared to most of the other colleges, the annual fees for B.A in English Hons. for the general category are approximately 12,000 INR and 4300 INR for open category. (The fees changes every year, visit the college website for accurate details)
Campus Life
The college has good infrastructure, there are a lot of societies to feature the talent of the students. The college also invites other colleges to be a part of our annual function and increase the beauty by marking their presence.
Admission
I was always fascinated by the language English, the literature and Grammar, hence, I decided to take my bachelor's degree in English Hons. After I filled the form offline, I was asked to wait till the college releases it merit list. Aftera couple of weeks, I was notified about my selection and was asked to visit the college along with the documents.
Faculty
The faculty of my college was very nice, especially in my department. Most of the professors had master's degree in English, some of them even had a P.hD degree. Our HOD organises a lot of guest lectures and seminars for the growth of our knowledge.
